I want to know if there are any places that you can start ordering Iris from now?

You can order from Barry Blyth in Australia now. You will have to email him for a catalog and it is a little pricey, but his stuff is top quality and very innovative in color and pattern. I ordered from him last year in January. The plants arrive around the first of April. Most of mine bloomed late summer/early fall-- when it was spring in Australia. Very pleasant experience.
