Check Lowes- Encore Azaleas were 1/2 off the 3 gallon size

got some last weekend, meant to post it , but got so busy with Scouts and all that I messed up

Gorgeous !!! 3 gallons for $14.50, down from $24.99

1 gallon ones were still $12.98

Also all of the succulents were 1/2 off (or more, one of the fellas just gave me some that were looking a little peaked, brought thm home, cleaned thme up and they will come back fine)


Just in time, too. Bought 13 of them to install -- I am completely redoing my front yard and tore out all of the old yucky Buford Hollies that were 30 years old, "Contractor Specials" that had been hacked back and malformed - took my son and his buddy about 2 hours each to mattock those babies out.

And ACK , I just saw the Autumn Embers ones (that I fgot 4 of them for $14 each in 3 gallons) at this site for $39 for 1 gallon! Ack!

I got some at our local lowe's. It appeared that they were't quite true 3 gal plants, the rootball did not come near the sides or bottom of the container. They were worth what they charged though. I love encore's I have eight different varieties . The fall bloom lasts for a long time, nearly eight weeks this year.

Don't they bloom several times a year? I saw a large garden in Manning last month with about a hundred Encores in full bloom. It was amazing to see. Made me want to go out and buy some.

They bloom 3 times at least - the guy who developed them is from either SC or GA and he has really done a good job.
The ones that I got were huge.
