Doris, do you really want to miss the thrill of discovery?

I don't know exactly how long, but it does take at least a month. Mine turned brown and dry before they popped open. It is a good idea to lightly wrap the pods up with wire, so when they open, you won't lose all the seeds. They will float away in the breeze if you don't. You can google adenium and with a little searching find out the proper way to do this. Good luck

Thanks Dave, seeds must pop open like Daturas, I had to put those in a nylon footee to catch the seeds.

Dlmcgrw I don't want to miss a thing *LOL*

I have one seedpod that has been around since before hurricane Gustav and it still has not popped. I just patiently wait.

I've had it wrapped with a few of those twist ties for about a month.
