I got a Carol Wright catalog and it has a banana green house with seeds.
Should I order one? It sure looks interesting.

I have no idea how long it takes to grow a banana from seed but I do know it must be much longer than one grown from a pup and there is no scarcity of them around.
However, if the greenhouse is cool............
LOL I will post the link this week end as I am at work right now. The picture shows bananas on the trunk of the plant but its a small thingy and probably has 3 seeds.

Even I wouldn't fool with a banana seed. Easy to get pups. I guess if it were something real exotic I would go with seeds but other than that>

The dimensions 8 1/2" long, 4 1/4" wide and 6" high. That makes it roughly about the same size as one of those take out containers for rotisserie chicken although they are wider.
Not at all what I thought it would be. The one thing with banana seeds is I would bet they need a good amount of heat to germinate.
