This is more of a re-purposed item. This mechanical convection incubator was found at a state government surplus sale for $25 (it sold for $1100+ when new). There is absolutely nothing wrong with it, and was in perfect condition.
The heat range is from 86 degrees to 158 degrees F, nearly the same range as a dehydrator!! The temperature dial was 1 - 9, so we had to experiment for a couple days to confirm the temperature settings.
We need to locate a few old oven shelves to cut down to make more drying racks, but we're using it with great success.
