I'll send at least 20 seeds if you send an self-addressed envelope to me with 59˘ in LOOSE POSTAGE (U.S. postage only). I will provide bubble wrapping to protect the seeds, however bubble envelopes are always welcome! Please remember to indicate which seed offering you are responding to!

If you are outside the U.S. and use PayPal , contact me - we can work something out about the postage.

These seeds are very easy to germinate - - Scarify with a small nick at the most pointed end, or by gentle rubbing with fine sandpaper (or an old, used emery file) . . . then give 'em a warm water Soak 18-24 hrs. Sew with the scarified part under soil - Leaving at least 1/3 of the rest of the seed EXPOSED to sunlight. These babies require sunlight to germinate. Germination is usually 7-10 days.

Of course I am open to trades. Lemme know what you have that's fantastic!

LiliMerci - these seeds are from the so-called "red bird of paradise" . . . i only know of one variety of the Pride Of Barbados, which is this one.

There are other species of Caesalpinia though i do not know of a pink one.

I've also found a few of the so-called "desert bird of paradise" which has yellow only blooms - - found one in the wild that had a few seed pods remaining and I will be trying to grow my own next spring . . . it is a completely different species, Caesalpinia gilliesii - see below:
