Dahlia digging.

Lewisville, MN(Zone 4a)

I didn't do it according to instructions, but they are out of the ground. They dug rather easy, as we had plenty of rain lately. We put each clump in a pail with it's marker & sat them in the greenhouse. I will start cleaning them soon.
Hard to believe the number of tubers on most of them. They were just a little tuber that I planted. I will plant in pots this spring & try to sell them at Farmers Market.
Between them & the glad corms, I may be cleaning things for long while.

So glad to hear your dahlias were tuberlifik Bernie ^_^ I averaged about 6-8 new tubers on each plant this year which I thought was outstanding consider most of dahlias were almost killed by the catsitter in May grrrr :(

ps Happy B-Day countrygardens. Hope you have a luvly, luvly day.
