growing dahlias in Florida

You can grow them in zone 9b and I believe that you are zone 9b too. here although some of them do tend to sag in the heat of the sun in the summer - I can't exactly say that they will grow where you are but if they do, you won't have to pull them up every year - you still have to divide them once in awhile though.
