To open up a plastic barrel I had bought for rainwater harvesting, I had to cut up the top. These barrels have no lid but have two openings with threaded caps. This piece was lying around without being used for anything. Once cut, it cannot be used as a lid to the same barrel. So what I did.... my 'genius' inside me told to heat up and bend a part so that I can use it to transport mud, soil and the likes in my garden work. The project came about very well. Those two holes serve as grips for my two hands while the bent up straight part rests on my tummy as I carry a small load across!
