I have bought Amaryllisbulbs - Malaysia

I have purchase
3 bulbs of an orange Amaryllis from Malaysia and got 6 big bulbs and two small one. From this excellent ebayer.

Can anybody identify this beautiful Amaryllis for me please?

From the unique shape of the bloom, it looks like one of the H. species not a "hybrid" cultivar.

Yes I think so to, that they looks more of a specie but I canīt find any to compare with :o)
It have a very beautyful color I think. Subdued but shimmer colour.

She say it was the same bulb. Or perhaps it can be a hybrid from this specie!

Yes so I am, when waiting for hippeastrum to grow and flower. And I canīt have them in my garden as you, very lovely pic of growing amaryllis in the garden and luxuriant foliage and flower.

Hippeastrum are not the most beautiful garden plant, until they bloom. Not many people grow them here.

We say here they looks like "not well-kept grass" in the windowsill, untill they flower, but until they flower, I can keep them behind the curtain. I think it is av very grateful potplant in my windowsill, and in the fall I put them into my storage in my garage, and there they rest until next spring, without any care. They are superb.
