Bog update

Wymore, NE(Zone 5a)

My plants have grown over the summer. The pitcher plants have eaten quit well! Now to collecting some pine needles and prepare for winter. Here are some pictures.

with this one, I tried to show my low spot, and how it is raised where the pitchers are planted. We just got 3 inches of rain, so the low spot is full, it will go down. I also got some sphagnum moss started in the low spot.

Petrified rock around the bog. In my mind, I'm so fortunate to have this!

A shot from the side. The camera I was given is nice, but it's a 3 megapixel one, so I know the pictures aren't the clearest, (plus I don't know how to do a lot of the available options). I'm so thankful I had one given to me, sure glad my SIL wanted to update!

I just realized, I should have taken the time to identify the plants. Maybe another day...

looks very good. I hope to build one myself someday. How long have these been growing in the bog?

Just planted them this spring. They are now heavily mulched. Fingers are crossed that I will see them again next year...
