Yeah, I know that's my picture. do you know how hard it was to keep all of those worm-eaten leaves out? But, she's (actually a he) about to.....

Now, we have more room to talk and our dialup people will not be hanging in space for so long. Lov ya, Peg

South Coast, RI(Zone 6b)

Peg, I got caught in the move so I am posting my last post on 25 here. So hotties and hansome skip this if you read it on 25

Phyllis, great luck with the plumie seeds. I run hot or cold with seed, either I get all or nothing. Good score on the Rhodie, half price and all.

Debra, hope you are doing better, but take it easy so you’ll stay that way.

Clemen hope the boat ride was not too cold.

AuntB, you were missed, and I also forgot to comment on your puppy pix. Who’s little guys are they? They are just too adorable. Glad to hear you are getting your stuff ready for winter. It was very warm here today not like fall at all.

Peg, Not much longer now she is about to…… in just a few days. They wait will kill ya thought. Lol

Luzia, This is a thread on the Burg forum. When you go to any forum you get a list of things you can open to read. They are called threads. Each time someone adds to the thread it is called a post. Just to let you know, we start new thread at around 300 posts, which is where we are now. That’s because we have a lot of people on dialup and it takes a long time to load after 300. So keep always read the last post and if a new one has been created there will be a link there.

I got to go out into the yard today and play director. Lisa dumped all the annual pot into the compost pile this afternoon. I had to show her which ones because she doesn’t have a clue. The yard is starting to look better, and maybe if she digs the holes I will be able to get some of the perennial into the ground next week.

Hope the RU hotties are having a great time, I'm sure it will be late tomorrow before we hear from any of them.

(Tammie) Odessa, TX(Zone 7b)

I think my Snow White if finally going to be really in bloom tonight! Been teasing me for over a week.. will take a pic... I promise even if wind is blowing at 30 mph like it is supposed to be doing.. might be a bit blurry. LOL

Oh, here is a pic of my 3 Lhasas.. Misty, Shiloh and Sky.. They are are very black.. don't know why they look grey in the pic.

I'd love to see the bloom Tammie. Your three are just too cute!! What fun!

I really wanted to use Joeswife, Deb's picture, but I did not have permission and we were really getting too long for some of us. Plus, I had to move the list one more time. I'm glad Karen's doing the Christmas exchange, and I had Phyllis helping me so much!! Peg

(Pegi) Norwalk, CA(Zone 10b)

I didn't know if Wolfie got my post, didn't realize you have made a new thread. If not, I would be interested in some lion tail seeds. If you have some to spare. My address is in the exchange.

Pegi

Tammie your fur babies are beautiful. I know years ago it was difficult to find a fully black Lhasa Apso. Is it easier now? I had mine for 19 year, Benji was a little doll and almost fully white. So long ago now I don't have any pix that are digital.

(Pegi) Norwalk, CA(Zone 10b)

Glad to see your furbaby ready to go on his own now. Hope all goes well and he is running around and happy.

(dana)Owensboro, KY(Zone 6a)

okay you all left me on the last thread.... so re-posting here. so hard to keep up! lolol!

It is so hard to keep up with all you Hotties with fast fingers! LOL!

My fur baby got his bandages off yesterday, and is struggling to walk. So I've had to be with him every second of the day yesterday. He'd walk and have both back legs give out underneath him :( poor guy! He has to learn how to use his legs all over again!

I came home from the vet yesterday and there was a STACK of boxes on my front door! LOL! I was so shocked! of course most of them were all the bulbs I ordered...but...

I GOT MY SILVER FALLS!!!! Thank you so much Louise and Mariam! LOL! She sent me cuttings AND seeds! I was going to start some in one pot and then transplant as it grew, but I have enough now to start in all the pots! and seeds to boot! so thank you thank you thank you!
My garden is now complete...well, for this year :) lol!

As for the brug cuttings I promised... I am STILL waiting on the cutting boxes from the PO... as soon as I get them, I will mail your cuttings! and dont worry, I havent cut the cuttings yet, cause I wanted to send them fresh...so as soon as the boxes arrive, I'll take the cutting and mail em :)

Have a great weekend everyone! I'm gonna put sheldon in his crate long enough to transplant some silver falls! LOL!

Henderson, NC(Zone 7b)

Hello everyone.  Thank you so much for your love and concern for me.  Yes, my health is not good and is going to get worse, but until it does, and as long as I am able, I will live each day to the fullest . I am very happy and I do not dwell on my problems.  I thank God each day for allowing me to be able to move my feet and walk, for holding on to me and steading my body. God is so good to me, always has been.  I also know that my God will not put more on me than I can handle, His word, the Bible tells me so.  I do ask Him to give me the strength and courage to handle whatever He has planned for me.  I do so love each of you, and my heart goes out to all who are hurting for any reason.  So many beautiful "Children " on this forum, and we are all proud Mom's no matter how many feet our children have.  Happy, happy again....another Christmas day..I do not know how I got so fortunate to get on so many lists, but again, something else to be thankful for.  Got seeds today, 6 packets of seeds from Melissa, (boy am I going to have a beautiful garden and I will be able to join you in showing beautiful blooms). AND would you believe she sent extra little seed bags and packets?  Such a sweet and thoughtful thing to do.  THANK YOU Melissa. Another BIG smile..Peggy sent me Red Brug seeds...wow, wow, wow...THANK YOU Peggy.   LOL got something here don't know what to do with.  LOL, but I'm sure you dear friends can and will teach me.  My love to all,Always your friend, Faye

about me: I think I posted this many threads back....but here it is:

Age 40, remarried last june to a wonderful man :) he has 4 kids (full custody) I have 3 kids and one foster daughter so...8 kids all together, and one grandson who is now 9 months old. thankfully most of them are grown and only 2 still in school! LOL! I have 2 doggies and 3 kitties and 4 hens. oh and DSS has a snake (yuck!)

I just started gardening this spring and absolutely love it.... gardening has been my saving grace this year because for some reason life keeps throwing sporatic lemons at me! LOL!

I just started with brugs in May and I now have 13 of them! I love them! each is different in its own unique way... color , scent, shape... and even how picky they are about blooming! LOL!

I also just started with bearded Iris, and planted over 200 different named varieties...so will have many colorful blooms next year! LOL

Minneapolis, MN

Hey hotties! I guess I'm the first one to report in. We had a BLAST!!!! It was so much fun, and we all came home absolutely loaded to the gills with plants!

Becky won the green head planter ☺ Linda Kay and Jeanne both were SO much fun, and so very sweet. We got alot of great visiting in, but I am tired. I need to apologize to Jeanne...we forgot her in the hottie group picture!!! However, I have a lovely photo of her to share. I would take pictures of my "booty" but I got so much it's plumb de embarrassing! LOL!

The after trip to Ken and Maggi's was every gardeners dream come true. They pretty much just let us loose with shovels and let us dig. Such wonderful, generous DG'rs. And their yard is an absolute plant paradise, with many unusual tropicals, tall towering alocasias and EE of every variety, and too many Brugs to name.

Okie dokey, here is some photos......The first is hottie TexasGrower, Jeanne BTW, she brought her daughter and grandbaby litttle Madeleine, and she almost didn't get the baby back from Linda Kay! I think she fell in love a little bit, LOL!

I am so envious of you gals who get to go to RUs! I sure wish they would have a RU in our area... just doesnt seem to be as many DGers in my area! lol!

Thanks kim... Doc said it would be a long recovery....about 2 months... and this is just the begininng....I think he just needs to relearn how to use them. lol! I couldnt even imagine what pain and discomfort I would be in if I had operations to reconstruct BOTH of my legs at the same time! He's been a real trooper...

(Louise) Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

OK, here it is and I will call this my first "Official Flush" The most I have ever had before this was 7 blooms as once 2 weeks ago on my mountain magic and that was an enoumous achievement.. this is my crowning achievement.. I think there are about 20 blooms.. not all are completely open and I can't get a good picture.. it is pitch black out there.. nothing in the view finder to see.. just point and shoot and hope I have a picture! LOL Mosquitoes are eating me alive too.. scent is sweet. I have this one in the ground.. will bubble wrap and christmas light it over winter to hopefully keep it alive.

May I present "Snow White" This was a cutting from Gordon Hawkins 2 years ago.
