Have major aphid infestation

Does anyone know how to stop this. Talking MAJOR here. I have four beds. No all are infected but I've sprayed with alchol and soap, peppermint, plain soap. (all mixed with water). I have a bug off hose sprayer but that always makes too much water for the irises. I'm in zone 6+

We had a problem with aphids on the roses after Gustav blew through. After trying the less aggressive methods, we finally gave up and used Merit, which knocked them right out. Happily aphid free now. Good luck! Ev :)

I also think tha Sevin in a powder helps.

You can also fill a spray bottle with a mixture of water & detergent & spray. aphids probacis is fouled up by the soap. We used that method on lumpine aphid problems.
