Avoid the melamine - buy local milk from a farmer you know

It really irks me that the FDA is choosing to set an "acceptable" level of melamine contaimination in the dairy products imported from China rather than adopting a zero tolerance standard.

And why does the US need to import milk when we have plenty of dairies here that could use our support? I want real food, real local, from real community farms! How can it be that this isn't an obvious first choice? **shakes mystified head***
