Corrugated greenhouse roofing?

Hulbert, OK(Zone 7a)

Hubby has finally built a nice greenhouse on the other side of the house.
Though we thought we could get through this season with heavy visqueen,
our cats have decided it is a jungle gym. Needless to say, We're not going
to make it through the season, let alone the month. Meow!

Though we have glass plans for the walls, the ceiling seems to get the corrugated
vote. But my gosh, we can't find this silly stuff anywhere, at least in the size we
need.

We're looking for 12' panels of clear. We've looked at all the hardware stores,
both big and small, all of the brands claim clear view, long lasting, etc.

In brief, could any of you suggest a long lasting material for the roof which will
allow light in, not turn hard plastic and chip, not change colors and turn ugly?
We've come across many different brands. Any input on a favorite, anyone?

Many thanks!

Thank you, Grammy!

I called a few places earlier, with little or no results.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

The Lowe's store in our area carries the clear, corrugated plastic in long lengths. We were thinking about using it on an old shed and checked it out at the store. Went with a kit GH in the end though.

Our Lowes only carries the eight foot lengths, sadly. Hubby scored
170 sheets of tempered glass at an auction Saturday, so we're thinking
of going that route as well.

I'm sure the glass will hold up forever and the corrugated plastic does not. My greenhouses are mostly from "auction scores". All the covers come from farmtek and on a good day I can get and end or error for a really good price from them! Auction is also a good place to find fencing and posts too if you can be flexible abut what kind!

We also have it and an assortment of coverings, but if you search the 'net you should have no problem finding a number of suppliers. Just search "corrugated polycarbonate."

Guess what?

My Farmtek catalog arrived today with a free pair of gloves.

Thanks, all!
