Why doesn't someone invent...

As I cut the strings on hay bales recently, I started to think: Why doesn't someone invent "hay bookends", a thin bent rectangle of steel, that can be shoved under each end of the bale that you are working on to keep it in a neat stack. Like those thin bookends you see in libraries only for hay. It would be great for small quantity users like me that stack hay in a small space to keep it from flopping all over the place.

I'll bet y'all have ideas for some "inventions" as well. Let's hear them!
