Yes, it can be true--like many large companies they've got several different categories of products that they make and pesticides happen to be one of them. There have also been some studies suggesting links between their systemic insecticide imidacloprid and toxicity to bees although I'm not sure if there's been enough research to establish causality there.

Another pharmaceutical company made the gas used in Hitler's death camps. Don't remember which one, it was not Bayer though. Most medicines are not safe at all and some are very dangerous. And then there are the biological weapons that have been added to our foods. Aspartame (NutraSweet) was still on the list of biological weapons until a few years ago, may still be for all I know. Yuska, pharma companies and conventional ag supply companies are first and foremost *chemical* companies. They are in the business of selling chemicals. Pharmaceuticals, fertilzers, pesticides etc are simply product divisions.

Of course you're right, but somehow it is hard to think of a company providing help against headaches and arthritis then killing our bees unbeknowst to us. Very serious - the food crops of everyone stand to be severely be diminished. Action I might expect of Monsanto or Dow Chemial, but Bayer????

Actually if you will research I G Farben and Bayer and the Nazis, you will find they are connected.
