How am I???? OMG! Overworked and underpaid! The terrace garden was a huge hit - but lots of work. Now I am busy collecting seeds from the annuals (to swap) and tearing the annuals out and starting to plant perennials.
Learned lots though . . . like why would anyone bother with petunias when profusion zinnias are so easy! And tithonia are terrific - but way toooo tall to use around the fountain.
And sooooo many weeds! Next spring I am going to use something to prevents weeds from germinating.
And I seriously overplanted - which looked great in late June - and a jungle by mid-September.
Good thing I told everyone it would take me at least three years to get it right!
That site is quite clever and cute, I concede.
But authentic? Never! There's nary a weed!
well, it's a virtual garden!
