My daughter just sent me a huge box of iris. Should I wait and plant next year or get them in the ground now. My thought is now so I can enjoy next spring????
Tks

When is the best time to plant
Yes, I would put them in the ground now, or pot and put in a protected area,
I live in Lebanon, and we are planting now...
Go ahead and plant.

Im heading out the door right now to get those puppies into the dirt. I guess I already knew the answer, just needed a push. Ehehe
Thanks

I have a peony coming--anyone like to plant it while they are planting other things?
no thanks still planting over 400 daylilies then off to fall clean up
I just got a notice- my daylilies should be here 10-1. Some kind soul could come over and help find them a place!! You know- where an iris isn't growing!!!LOL
Dee you can plant later than we can--could not get everything moved so will have to cut out old parts of rhizomes in the ground, that is if it stops raining. Oh dear, look at all the weeds where the bed was weeded before. the down side of rain, although i don't miss last summers drought.
