Fall Photo's....lets share.

I thought i'd start a thread of fall colors, pumpkins , apple picking time, leaves/landscapes changing color.....post them here!!

I'll start with a few.
This is one of the tree's at the bottom of our field that changed color dramaticly.

This one is quite vivid also.

Some type of tree that has an abundance of black berries. Looks very much like choke-cherries berries but black.

Looking from the first knoll to the 2nd one at the top of the field.

Bottom of the field as far as we mow, then it becomes woods. This is were the deer and one big moose lives.....far enough from us not to bother.

Looking into the woods where Mr. Moose lives.

Very deep coloring this year.

Autumn Sunrise

This is what's left of the pumpkin leaves and a friend warming it's wings in the morning sun.

Wings are warmed and moving onto better things!

Pumpkin found on the other side of the pumpkin patch. One vine traveled through a patch of blackberry bushes, was suprised to see this bright orange in the middle of it!
I need to have my Grandaughters come pick their pumpkins this week as the vine is almost dead. I like to try and leave them on as long as possible, Oct.1st preferably so they will last until Halloween.

Great shots, Celeste (and Jo Anne) and time for the thread! Isn't it ironic that PI is so nice looking in fall? It's a great time to spot it and kill it.

PI has beautiful colors in the fall, shame it's such a vile plant!!

Yay, fall!

Here's one of my red chokeberry, which started a while back and has kept the vivid red. The one next to it is still green.

Not the best quality, but you get an idea of the color. Down the street in the common area.

This is a baby tree in the same common area. A nice color, esp against the dark of the woodland floor (plus not a lot of light in general in this area).

Here's my lowbush blueberry that I moved late summer. It also turned red a while back and has stayed that way. I like it with the holly berries.

And finally one of my sedums (blood dragon or something), that is now a nice red. It was green with some red just a week or two ago. I forgot this one changed color in fall! It is in my waterfall rock area.

How widespread is the color there, Eve?

Not very. It is more a tree here, a tree there. At least near me in the lowland area.

Posted this on the garden photos thread, but it certainly fits in here. Oakleaf hydrangea.
