I have a couple of cannas that really need to be transplanted. They are getting crowded out. I've never grown cannas before. They don't need to be dug up here for the winter so do I transplant them sometime in the fall or wait until spring? One of them is blooming now but the others aren't and I don't think they will.
thanks for the help
When should I transplant my cannas
I think you should transplant now, that way come spring they're already all settled in underground, you'll have a head start over if you did it in spring.
Thanks, that's kinda what I was thinking but didn't know.
Kathy
They will probably appreciate the cooler weather to get their roots re-established, so they can take off come spring.
