I'm not sure who to thank, but as I posted my link here and at GardenWeb's iris forum, and only emailed the link to three family members and three friends who live outside Louisiana, I feel pretty sure it's members here who have spread the word. Some of you may remember the link to my Gustav-related photos that I posted about ten days ago.

Well, apparently some of you sent the link to friends, who sent it to friends.... and on and on. To my surprise, my Yahoo! site manager is now tallying over 35,000 hits on the page! The number of views per day keeps growing, even though it's almost three weeks after the storm. Though I didn't expect it to spread like this, I am very grateful to those of you who forwarded it to friends and relatives. It's wonderful to know that others care enough about the plight of Louisiana during Gustav to take a look... and I'm extremely grateful to you all.
Thanks! Ev :)
Thank you to the members of the forum =)
As you said, the news only cares about current 'newsable' They need to care more about the people who were hurt.
Ev,, sorry about all that 'mess' I know about all the clean-up long after the media is gone. Sure hope noone was injured.
