Old brown stacker jug I.D. Please

I purchased an old clay stacker jug and can't find any info on it and i have searched the web over.
I have learned that it may be a slave jug because it has a horseshoe symbol above an X it's made of red clay and a brown glaze it has it's original handle but has chips around the spout.
Heres a picture i figured the reason i couldn't find any info is it's probably worthless but not to me and if anyone here knows anything about it please let me know.
