Any suggestions? I live in zone 7. I experimented with one tomato plant this summer and it is thriving. So I figure, why not try to do something this fall and why not do some vegetables.
I'm open to any suggestions. I was thinking some spinach -- thoughts?
Winter Container Vegetables
Tony I always have pots of green onions, radishes and mesclun mix by the back door for easy access. Last winter I found that garlic, potatoes, strawberries and cilantro will work in pots. This winter I'm also doing carrots, broccoli, cabbage, leeks and bulbing onions.
I have green beans, squash and cucumbers coming on strong for the fall. This summer I had very good peppers, tomatoes and tomatillos. I'm handicapped and have to grow everything in pots now. So just try anything that suits your fancy.
