Think you're partially right Nanny. I think Juvie American Redstart. In my peterson book: "Like female but tinted orange."
I don't know it is sure matching the Redstart except for the orange... maybe a juvie male.. or just the lighting... Ohhhhh OldNed....yoooohhoooo!

Isn't he? And you know, I found him completely by accident. I was following a hummingbird into the tree when this guy flew exactly to the spot where the HB was sitting, thereby chasing him off. It's like he WANTED to get his picture taken. I snapped off these few, then my batteries went dead. When I came back with fresh batteries, he was gone.
