Rene, is that Chocolate Drop correct? It looks like Why Not to me. Here's Chocolate Drop: http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/photo/2767658570030272744WQQaJX

Looks like it could be, I am not very good keeping up with tags. That Chocolate Drop is beautiful!

I agree.

Meechiara is a new one to me! Lovely!

The latest to bloom...almost an exact year to the day when it bloomed last year! It's Gratrixara (Hawkinsara) Sogo Doll 'Little Angel'

Kathy, the Coelogyne lawrenceana is gorgeous. Congratulations. I couldn't get the splendens hyperlink to work.

Todd, the Gratrixara is beautiful. Too bad they took my name off of it. :>).

Hi, Jim. I'm pretty psyched about the coelogyne!! Here's a sharp and blurry pic of what I think is splendens today.

Kathy, I think I have more red in mine than that. Here is another picture.

Onc Mendenhall Psychopsis has bloomed again. I'm getting a bloom about once a month. The other one called Butterfly is still blooming about once a month also. I can see absolutely no difference between them.

I love it when I go out of town for a few days and come back to a SHOW :-)!!!
GORGEOUS!!!!

I need to get my camera and get going here. We had about 6 inches of rain here yesterday, courtesy of Hannah. At least everything got washed!!

Shelburne Falls, MA(Zone 5a)

Welcome home, Ursula. Lots of rain here too. We went home early from the county fair but I saw the pig races, the wild zoo, lots of livestock and ate barbeque and fries. And I've gotten a local hem seller addicted to the lily auction. He was there, too. The orchids are well flushed of the well water today and everyone is smiling. The lycaste's bud just keeps growing-it's gunna be good!! The Amherst Ma orchid sale is next Sunday.

Wonderful Kathy! My Chinese Cyms did not bloom this year...in fact, one is 2 years old and still no blooms. Wonder what I'm doing wrong? I expect they will migrate to the greenhouse at work.

Shelburne Falls, MA(Zone 5a)

I have some trouble getting most of mine to bloom also. I decided to keep them at 45-50 all winter even though some are summer bloomers. Cym Golden Elf was warm last winter though. I figure the bigger the plant, the more apt to bloom no matter what the conditions and this baby is a mature plant. I lost a few this summer-too much rain I guess.

Fair Lawn, NJ(Zone 6b)

Your Golden Elf looks GREAT!! Nice plant and blooms!

Now here is a new one for me - Cleisocentron merrillianum
I had picked it up from Andy's Orchids at the SEPOS in the Spring. I am happily amazed to see two nice clusters this Summer.
