My raised beds did horribly this year. I had too much rain, then not enough...vineborers and tomato blight. What's a girl to do? :)
First of all, I completely forgot about crop rotation so I'm sure that's where the tomato problem came in. Easily remedied next year. Vine borers---the bane of my gardening existence. I'll try my best to be on top of them next season.
I have access to all the "seasoned" horse manure a girl could want (from a friend with a horsebarn) so I plan on adding to all my beds, flowers and veggies.
I'm going to pull up all the remaining plant remnants and burn them tonight and I thought maybe I should plant some sort of "green manure". What to plant? Clover?
Cover crops?
