really I mean I now have another really old tool and want to know anything you know about it. The tool had the following markings:

MatchelssPatented Sept 29 1908

The BridgePort HWDE. MFG Corp USA

I don't think it has anything to do with woodworking, it looks more like a cobblers tool. The 1908 patent also says it probalby is not mfg today.
