I need to get my compost bins working as it takes so long to get any good, fryable matter. I have been thinking of using tiger worms in the bins because this would speed up the whole process but how do I overwinter these wee beasties? I'm a bit loathe to spend a boat load of money on the worm housing too - it's very expensive. Could I just buy the worms and make a winter home for them in a couple of buckets ( one smaller one with holes for drainage inside a larger one) stored in a warm greenhouse?
Sorry if this question sounds a bit weird.
Has anyone any experience of Tiger worms?
