I start collecting Tropical hibiscus this year.
This is my first bloom.
I wish you will like it.
Blueberry Thrill

Thanks,Karen.
Beautiful pics, Courbet!!! Glad your first one has opened :-)
I didn't see this post before.
A beautiful bloom and a great variety. I didn't know that Dupont's varieties can be found in Taiwan.
The last one you're asking for is Herm Geller.

Courbet, I can say you now that what you have as "Anna Nicole" is actually "Wallflower".

Carlos
Thanks,carlo05
Left one is Wallflower, but the right one came from Hibiscusplace.
It marks Anna Nicole.
I will take more pictures of it for you to check again.
Regards
Courbet
As you are the only one who can watch them in live, don't they look the same for you? At least they do for me looking at the picture. In that case, both plants would be Wallflower.

Carlos
Almost no colors on the flower.
I like it.
wow and I thought my hibiscus bushes had cool flowers!
Are all hibiscus edible ?
I have a red foot tortoise that would most likely love to eat on them
Hey how big is the Blueberry Thrill bloom - it looks HUGE!?
Beautiful flowers, Courbet! I love the pic of your girls with the opening bloom! That's a classic picture.
All h. rosa-sinensis are edible, Kyle, and several other species of hibiscus too. Roots, stems, leaves, flowers, everything. They're actually nutritious - full of anti-oxidants, and really good for reptiles as long as they don't have any pesticide residues on them. Charlie used to send leaves to quite a few reptile people, and has sent hibiscus to the San Diego Zoo too. We researched it pretty intensely when our young black lab developed an insatiable addiction for eating hibiscus! After all our research, we decided his addiction was bad for our emotional health, but apparently very good for the puppy's physical health. :-)
Cindy
Ha ha ha Cindy too funny about your black lab liking the hibiscus. I know a couple reptile people and the lizards (bearded dragons, iguanas etc.) LOVE the hibiscus. I tried to serve a rather huge 11" bloom to my family on top of the salad bowl and everyone except me and my youngest picked AROUND the bloom - initially they thought I had really lost my marbles serving flowers with the salad! LOL
Wow, just gorgeous pictures. You must just love them!
Dear Cindyhib,Ultimateshopper,Fla_Chick and Kyle33541,
Thank you for enjoying my hibiscus.
Here we usually use the leaves of Hibiscus tiliaceus to pack food.
But we don't eat them.
And we eat this:

Hi,Ultimateshopper
The Blueberry thrill are about 20cm.
Bigger than a child's face.
