I returned from your neck o' the woods last night! I was in upstate NY with Dad - weeding gardens and hacking down barberry bushes, pool maintenance, etc....bossing around the guy that mows the lawn......but I managed to plant another dozen bearded iris and, best of all...5 perennial hibiscus!!! Very excited about those......I had purchased 4 on-line and then when I was at HD buying pots they had tons of them in 1 gal. containers...2' x 2' bloom & bud at 1/2 price ($5) so of course I had to buy one - just to give the tiny ones I was planting encouragement!!!

Hey Audrey! I'm in Arizona, and I don't even know what day it is, but I hope I'm not too late to wish you a happy birthday, wherever you are!

These two roses (which I hope are the ones in focus) symbolize my daughter and me, before we dropped her off at college today!

Thank you Carrie! How do you like Prescott? Its weather, people and the town are as close to "home" as you can get out here - I really loved living there!

Hot, hot, hot then f-r-e-e-z-i-n-g in a restaurant or bookstore, then more hot, hot, hot! But a very cute little town (surrounded by a lot of cowboys with real guns)!
