That's cool! Nice job .. you do know though that buried startled armadillo's will sometimes jump straight up into the air? When I lived in High Springs, My border collie and I used to go woods tromping along the Santa Fe near Blue Springs. One of her favorite games was sniffin out buried armadillos and "springing" them. I know from experience how hard those armor plates are so be careful!
