Oh thankyou so much Laurel. I have a niece with that name too. What is that pretty flower?

It is a perennial in the hibiscus family, Coccinea "Texas Star". I have not looked up its zone limitations but see many of you grow hibiscus up in the frozen tundra.:) I started some from seed this year and they are incredibly easy and fast growing. If you'd like seed, DMail. I'll collect in the Fall.
