Any experience with hydrangea 'Hallasan'?

I'm curious as to your experience in growing this one, which has runners or stoloniferous branches, and wonder how much space it requires.

I've never grown it, but most of the H. serrata cultivars get to about 3-4 ft so I would guess yours would be in that range as well.

Since it expands by runners my concern was the eventual width of it.

At least the ones I've seen, they are only a little wider than they are tall so I don't think you have to worry too much. And they're not like wisteria or something like that which is going to spread really aggressively, if you want to keep it in a 4-6 ft wide area I don't think you'd have too much trouble keeping it where you want it.
