Iris Seed Pods

Someone gave my daughter and I 14 Iris seed pods and said that each pod contains hundreds of seeds. She said they still need to dry out but I'm not sure what to do next. I've got Irises but never have grown from seeds. Help appreciated.

Here's some info that may be helpful if you are talking about bearded iris. I don't believe a bearded pod will produce hundreds of seeds though. The most seeds I've ever gotten from a single pod was 111, and that is way above average.
