I have a Berry farm and the june bugs have eaten 1/2 of the crop. Anyone that can help me with some sort of natural control or what might work for them. I have 2000 plants in the ground and trying to catch the June bugs and distroy them is just not possible. I am in NC and the NC agriculture said to use Spectricide from mid to late August and after that time the spectricide would not work.
Blackberry Plants _ June bug control
Would a flock of guinea hens do the trick? I've heard of nurseries using them to control insects in their propagating fields.
I've heard that too about the Guinea hens...they are very thorough!!
