I have put links for all the threads to help buddies with ideas:)

Hello-My name is Stacey and of course since I am Fairy1004 I want to do a fairy swap!!!

I will open it today and will post names on the 2nd post-if you don't see your name and it should be there, JLMK:)

Just 2 rules for this swap:
1. If you already have a Fairy Garden or Fairy garden art, please give us a peek so that we can:
a. get ideas and share
b. not get you the same things you already have
2. You MUST post a pic when you get your surprise from your swap partner!!

I will close it on 7/8 and get names & addys to you on 7/9. While I hate to set $$ limits, around $20 is reasonable I think...

IF YOU ARE NOT IN THE EXCHANGE OR HAVE NEVER BEEN IN ONE OF MY CO-OPS, dmail me your address.

I expect all packages to be mailed out by 7/18-if you have an emergency, at least be courteous and dmail your buddy to let them know:)

Here are some sites that have things for a fairy garden and fairy garden art.
Some of these are all compliments of other DG members that found them-thanks guys!!

Has anyone else gotten theirs yet that I didn't mark as received??

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Good Morning everyone.
Stacey, Thanks for the new room.

Linda Kay

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

Hi LK! How goes it this morning with you? It's a nice sunny day here in Dyersburg! My brugs are growing, but not budding! My fairies are flitting about the house! OOPS, almost had a crach! Gonna have to put up traffic lights! Tee hee hee!!!^_^

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Good morning Audrey, Things are going very well here. I have my coffee, My Dad is up, and has his coffee. I have already watered the plants, and checked for new bugs. So far all is well. I have little grasshoppers, eating little holes in the brugs. Nothing else, just the brugs!!!
So I got some sevin spray, and that seems to be working.
You gotta be careful with all the fairies running havoc. Can't have them being wreckless!!
LOl
Take care, and have a good day.
Oh, by the way, How close are to Bemis, or Jackson, Tn. My Dad was born in Bemis, but was raised in Jackson. Just curious.
Linda Lay

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

I'm about 45 min from Jackson. I love to go there, but don't get to go often, because of gas prices! Hobby Lobby is there! I want to see what they have if minature stuff!

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

Mine is going out this week! Found a box long enough! Would you believe I ordered those tube boxes and it's the box those tubes were shipped in that's going to do the trick! The tubs are actually too short. I had tried to piece two of those together a week or two ago and the post office frowned on it.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

LOL Deborah... not too miniature, huh?
What on earth could you be sending that's that big? You did know this swap is for Miniature gardens, didn't you? LOL

Mornin' all my fairy friends.

Audrey, those fairies need a little discipline it seems... maybe sending them to time out will teach them to slow down a bit and watch out for the furniture.

LK, I noticed some grasshoppers here too.. but so far, they're not chewing on the brugs... they seem to really like the canna leaves though... I just spray the leaves with my amonia/dish soap/vinegar solution, and they leave them alone.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

So please share your recipe, that sounds so much safer than the sevin spray...

I have a bunch of hummingbirds, and always worry about them getting into the nasty poison.

Sounds like Deborah, bought the whole store out!!!

Linda Kay

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Ok, real easy...
1/3 cup liquid dish soap
1/3 cup household amonia
1/3 cup white vinegar

then put 1/4 (or just a little less if desired) cup of that solution in a 1 gallon pump up sprayer, and fill with water...

One cup of that recipe makes 4-5 gallons of spray, and is just enough to do everything on my property... I spray once a month, but you can spray more often because the rain and sprinklers do wash it off.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Mornin' just a quick check in as visiting nurse is due soon.

Humm! Kiss the cook and a handsome guy? Is this true? Then why are you not sending him to me?

I miss you gals!!!

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Miss you too Marion.

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Stacey, my confirm and track says my box was delivered to my buddy last Friday at 7:37 in the morning.

Hi Marion.

Hi BJ

Hi Stacey

Hi LK

Hi Cordeledawg

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

Running in to cool off a bit, gussle down some gateraide and wave hi. Hey there Joyce!

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

Well where is your buddy then-have to go fetch her out of the baby swap room!!

I got mine today-THANK MELISSA-I got a cute little swing, which I am making a little arbor already, so this will fit under it!! And I got 3 gnome groundskeepers, since I already have their house they are all set, and I got 3 ceramic mushroom picks:) They are perfect for the flower fairies I want to make!! They can use them as stools!! I also got one of the frog pot waterer thingys-we were talking about them on the Bday thread a while back and fell in love with them-that was a "just cuz" gift!! YEAH!!! I am soooo excited!!

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

Stacey, they are just sooo cute! Why can't I ever find things like that??!!!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Stacey, that is a nice package. I wonder where those gnomes on a stick came from? They are so cute.
Hello everyone.
Hope your all drinking your fluids and staying cool!
LindaKay

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

I only go out to look for buds!! And to water, but I do that after it cools off a little!

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Wow sounds like some of you are having some really hot weather. It's 77 here, which is really cool for this area. Only going to get to 89 today. We had triple diget back in May just before Memorial Weekend which was unusal for us.

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

In the low 100's here this week!

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Whenever I see that it's going to be in the 100's around here I get all of my outside work done by 8 a. m.( I'm up at 4:30 a.m.) then I spend the rest of the day inside!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Wow, that is early. My hubby gets up at 5:30 for work, but I don't get up till about 6:30 or 7.
now that is an early bird!!!

It is only 101 here right now!

Linda Kay

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

OOOOOOHHHHH to hot. My boyfriend gets up at 3:30 (he's very slow moving) leaves at 4:45 to be to work by 6:00. And after all the noise he makes (he thinks he's being quite) I'm wide awake. Of course bedtime for him is 8:00 I try to stay up until 9 or 10.

How many of you are still waiting for fairies to come?

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

the ones that got theirs are marked in the top-so a lot are still waiting-did you see I got toadstools for my flower fairies:)

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Yes, I did and they are awesom. I see now the ones with the stars have received their's right?

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

Fairy, I see you have garden pick gnobes! That's the kind of fairnesses I need to be looking for. Maybe the dogs won't be able to take them off. May have to set them in concrete but hey, if it works.. Debra, you out there.....did you see the gnobes on stakes? Maybe there are frogs on stakes somewhere to be had. By the way, how's the wedding plans coming along?

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

I haven't seen her oin in a while....wonder how she's doing??

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Stacey I have places for those stake gnomes should you be tired of them!
Deborah, I found some hose-guide gnomes at the Dollar General. They're pretty heavy too.

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

Wowzers! Dollar General we have! I'll check them out.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Deborah... Debra lost a dog the other day, and has been beside herself lately... the dog came home last night, and is doing fine. She should be back on with us before too long.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Hey, I was at our Dollar General today... and I saw no gnomes at all... not fair.

Seymour, IN(Zone 5b)

Byndeweed , Thanks! I receive a GNOME BOX!!!!! A great box , decorated with gnome stickers and just full of Gnomes. Three large gnomes, a ledge sitting Gnome reading a book, a Gnome thermometer, a gnome tin with a tiny magnet inside, hardy sedum starts,Gnome cinnamon gum, yes really cinnamon gum, and a beautiful cord necklace and earrings. Thank you , thank you , thank you. A real "over the top" swap box. I love them all. The card Beth sent opens and plays " I feel good". I laughed so hard when I opened it. I took so many pictures yesterday ( My MIL's 90th birthday party) that my camera batteries are down.I will get a pictuce to post soon. They will look great in among my plants in my indoor garden. Tell me about the sedums, please. They are very interesting. Could they grow indoors in a bowl? Thanks, Lou
