BTW.....those little flowers are only about 1 millimeter across,
and I can't see them very well with the naked eye. Fortunately
my camera has a macro function and gives nice close-ups!!

Tim Tunison told me that this is the only native
rainforest grass in Hawaii, and can get weedy.
Guess that's what happening in my backyard
(actually Ohia and treefern rainforest) as it's seen
from almost every position on my trail meander.
Glad I didn't remove it.....Strange I don't see it
anywhere else than in my backyard. Now I feel
that I have something special in having be weedy.
