I really like the hosta flowers and mine are really in full blossom. Post you hostas in bloom. We would love to see them!!!! Is this a golden tiara??? It looks like everyone elses. But this year it is full of flowers. I love this little baby. Im not even really sure how old it is. I might even seperate it this fall and make a lovely border. I seen that in another forum and it looked great! Not that i'm stealing any ideas or anything. ;}
Lets see the flowering hostas!!!
Very nice thanks for all the posts!!! I love the Niagar falls hosta. The rippling along the sides is beautiful!! I thought maybe I had a JCC, but I was way wrong. Mine doesnt have that large of leaves. After it stops raining I will take a shot at it and post. Maybe you all can i.d. I know this is not the i.d. forum but you do what you have too!!!
I have several hosta flowers to take but its raining here so it will have to wait. We need the rain so let it rain. Been raing for quit a few hours. Nice pitter patters. Cute picture of the baby dragonfly!!!
Wow thanks everyone have enjoed all the blossoms. I will go take pictures of mine. Now no rain is coming down!!! Ronna
dragonfly I really like the fire and ice.
Fire & Ice is one of my favorites and it can take the sun. I have two of them. This one gets about 4 hours of hot afternoon sun. That first yellow one of yours could it be Choo Choo Train or Solar Flare? That last one I would love to have. You don't know the name? BEV
I do love these pix. Bev yours are all beautiful, love the name and flowers "Needle and thread" very appropo
Garden Lade, your last one looks like "Wide Brim". You all have beatiful Hostas. Helene
Oh I meant "Silver threads and Golden Needle" Love that name. Helene
"Silver threads and Golden Needle" is a long one though. Gets abbreviated to "silver Threads" most of the time and I have to use a smaller font in my Hosta lists.
I love the pics above. dragonfly62's pic of Undulata Aureomarginata reminded me of a whole garden I forgot to look at. I've got some more pics, but need to download them first.
Great pictures.
Slightly off topic - some of my lancifolia are blooming now, and they usually don't until September. Everything else is running a couple of weeks behind usual. Is anyone else having things bloom at the wrong time this year?
