July 26-KState Research and Extension Horticulture Field Day

The K-State Research and Extension Horticulture Center Field Day is July 26, 9am -3pm in west Olathe. WE have gone the last two years and it's been great.

They have there experimental gardens open to the public. They also have classes through out the day. See web page below for more information.

I wish it was the following weekend instead. I have to work and help set up a barn. :~(

Sorry you have to work also. The barons ound slikeit could be fun. When you say setup a barn what do you mean?

We just ordered a new barn and we have to put it together. It comes in pieces.

I was thinking you meant install barn but I wasn't sure. So depending on the size it could be a long day. Hope it's a cool one.

You can see their test trial beds for annuals, grasses, hostas, vegitables, and some perinnials. They also have inside classes all day long.
