Dang. I'm sooo far behind that I think that I'm facing the back end of the front again! And I really need to get some shut eye. But, I just thought that these were some sort of "cheery" pics to post for first thing to see in the morning.

Nope, no special photoshop "tricks" here or anything like that. Just a huge daylilly.

Back in the thread Donna,my trumpet is "Copper King" from B&D Lilies.
I love your underplantings and will become a cone flower nerd soon.I also love lavender,DD is starting some from seeds but I can't wait five years so I'm off to the garden store.
I have a deep purple Fall Aster "Purple Dome"nearby but it won't count as an underplant, Lily will be out of bloom by Aug.
Cant believe I said August, and have noticed it's darker when I get up. I'll try not to think of the end of the garden.
