I have some beautiful oriental fabric and would like to make an Akita quilt using the Akita dog head in some of the quilt. Perhaps an eleven inch block amongst the oriental patterns. Have not decided on what pattern yet. Any ideas on how to applique an Akita or getting the head I want without doing hand embroidery?
