Some of the buds on my 'Pistachio' clematis are beginning to droop. I am concerned, as I haven't seen this haopen before. The clem is a Group 3, if that's of any help to you.
In the photo, there are some buds that do not droop, and some that do. What might be causing this?

Don't know. Is it getting enough water?
Victor: Yeah. With the amount of rain we have been having lately, I would think that it's getting enough water, but perhaps it might be too much water?
Jo Ann: That was me on the other thread, and I'm still not sure that it's actually clematis wilt.

Could be too much if the drainage is not good - they do require good drainage.
