Shampoo Ginger source

Does anyone know where I can find shampoo ginger on the Big Island?

Hey Mlassi, most any windward lowland forest. If you visit State Parks along the Hamakua Coast near Hilo, it is all over the place. A bit dry in your area. Grow it on the shady side of the building.

Thanks! I live at almost 3000' elevation so its not dry at my house, thank goodness. Next time I head to Hilo I will grab some!

Forests around Kolekole Beach Park are loaded with it. About 12 miles from Hilo, between Hakalau & Honomu.
Good place for a rest stop; noboby will hassle you for digging up a few plants!
