Hurricane Bertha

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Our first hurricane of the season! It's too soon to tell if this one is going to be trouble or not. Right now the folks on Bermuda are watching it closely.

Here's a link to the discussion on the NOAA website: http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/text/refresh/MIATCDAT2+shtml/071432.shtml

I like seeing that northerly turn and hope she keeps on that path right back out into the wide open seas!

Your link doesn't work, it goes to page not found

That's so weird... Ok, how about this link? http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/

The new track has her going even more dramatically towards the north, and weakening, too. Yayy!

Now... where's Pati???

Bertha is now a C2 hurricane. She may skirt Bermuda but is still forecast to turn more northerly. If she makes that projected turn she won't be a threat to land, besides Bermuda, for a long time
