I use raised boxes, but I am still watering by hand. While the boxes are somewhat empty I am comsidering putting in some type of (possibly temporary) system that I don't have to water by hand. I don't mind turning on the water, but want something to go under the mulch.
The boxes are 4x8x16.
Here's the limitation: I need to spend as little as possible, that's why it might be temporary, due to a recent heart surgery on my husband. I'm thinking soaker hoses or plastic tubing of some kind. However, I'm thinking with all the experience here, someone may know a better way.
