What type am I

Planted this iris about 5 years ago, no idea what it even is. I thought I remembered it being a Japanese Iris, but I am not sure. Any ideas?

It's a Japanese for sure. As to what cultivar, it's hard to tell. It looks near species, and I know Ensata carries quite a few of those, so you might want to search pics there.

Yeah, pretty sure that's a Japanese iris. The coloration is gorgeous! Especially where the yellow turns into blue, then into magenta. ;D And I'm green with envy, hehe.
