What can I do to get rid of these pests? These have invaded my French Mother-in-law's garden... and being Canadian I must know how to hunt any beastie. In the next month I have to get the garden back in shape which means tackling moles and dodging vipers. I am just lucky the wild boar can't climb the fence. Robb.
a mountain of mole-hills
There are a few approaches...the least violent (but also potentially slower acting) is using milky spore to control the grubs which they are eating...fewer grubs = fewer moles. Or you can set traps in their tunnels. Or if you want to impress the mother in law with your beastie-killing skills, you could go over there with a big huge mallet and play Whack-A-Mole in the yard! (do you have that game in Canada?)
I remember seeing whack-a-mole at the fall fair... I wouldn't want to resemble the charaters surrounding the booth. Robb
You're cracking me up, zone!! LOL!! (Wish I could help...)
