My Katharine came across this information today and passed it along to me. Have any of you ever heard this?

Peppers with 3 bumps on the bottom are sweeter and better for eating. Peppers with 4 bumps on the bottom are firmer and better for cooking.

never heard of that but whenever we are having stuffed peppers we go for the ones with the four bumps on the bottom because they are better balanced.
