Okay here is what I found.. this one is made out of Resin, but there are wooden ones all over the place at thrftstores.. they all ready have a hole in them, you can put a backing on them, put them sideways and a roof for birdhouses... if you are not handy with a saw (like me) these are perfect to make the birdhouses.
or turn them upside down and use them as planters, tool holders, etc..
